That is hilarious, never thought one of those would pull a bottom/moldboard plow, and or match up with one to get decent results. Even today, kids must have still enjoyed the ride, more so if they could drive.
I would think one would have to be careful using one of those for this purpose, figuring they probably get hot, creating drivetrain issues doing too much drawbar work.
Spring tillage I suppose could be a chore after awhile for large operators, but the guy I help on the side, sure enjoyed plowing with the 5 bottom. I always joke how I'm such a big operator with my single bottom, and 7 foot disc, still say it's the best time of year though !
