the main reason for the rolling blackouts is for the last 8years NO new powerplants have been built.at the behest of the greens, the klintonites have blocked new construction.the population and power usage keeps going up,but production has not increased.the result is rolling blackouts & brownouts.usage cannot increase indefinately without production increases.the fish they are whining about eats salmon eggs,a major part of its diet.the dam was built partly to irrigate the land.one of the main reasons for its existence.we live here too,we evolved from huntergathers to agriculture users.only a small part of the picture, but the same crap is going on all over the country.shut down local economys"for the enviornment",we will reach a point where food shortages will happen because of such crap.who will you cry to then?the farmers will be gone, hounded out of existence.without agriculture we are dead.of course the govt.will have an answer, after creating the problem in the first place.we(the govt.)will feed you, just give us your freedom.we(the govt)will think for you.it's for your own good.YEAH,RIGHT!!
