The AA was shortened, and the rear-winch and lift was made from a worm-drive TT rear-end. I got it from the original user. That is, the guy that converted it into a tow truck and used it, during the 1930s. Traded him for a 65 Chevy Bel-Air four-door with a 283 and PowerGlide. If it was a two door, I wouldn't of parted with it. He put it on the road, drove it for a month, and died. Then his wife called me insisting I take it back, and give here the AA. I didn't. Keep in mind she hated her recently deceased husband and all his friend. She did not live near him, but showed up as soon as he died to take over everything and cash in.
That poor AA has been sitting in the weeds for years now. Just one of those many projects I've never found time for. I've also got over 30 tractors also waiting for some repairs.
