Funny you should ask, I just dug out my recipe last night and it's laying right here by the computer.
6 cups Dandelion petals (get all the green off)
2 lbs sugar
1 gal water
8 oz raisins
1/2 lemon or 2 tbs of real lemon
1/4 teaspoon yeast
Heat water and dissolve sugar in it. Pour hot over rest of ingredients. Cover with tea towel, let steep for 3 days. Strain and put in a containter with a bubbler or some method to let it ferment without air getting to it.
After fermentation is done, strain again and bottle.
When you uncover this mess after 3 days of steeping, you'd think it's ruined. After you strain the solids off, it smells just like raw honey. Some of the best wine I've ever had. Just make sure you only use the petals. Any bad dandelion wine I've ever had had some of the green left on the buds.
