IF you can get your hands on a book called IRON SOLUTIONS it is what dealers use to floor plan used equipment. In that book you will find prices listed in several ways. Advertised price, auction price, actual retail sales price. These figures are compiled from reported dealre sales as well as reported auction prices..Right now GOOD used is still bringing pretty good money. May not be as much diffrence as you think in prices. My guess is you are just a better shopper thank maybe the averag joe. Also you cannot begin to think about how much diffrence 500 miles or location can make in what a unit will command..
