We picked this up yesterday at a flea market for $25, we thought it might work for our 1939 JD H, would this work if we attached a running wheel. We would like to stay with a JD H implement. What is this plow for and what circa is it from as we can find no information on a JD 272 plow? If anyone knows, what tractor did this come off of and what parts are missing if any? I did take off a part that looked like a wheel possibly slid up in there as the part looked like it was able to hold a circular object. see pics below We tried to use this on our farmall and our case 400 to no avail as it did not dig into the ground. After using the implement we would like to primer and paint it to be shown with our parade tractor. My husband seems to think this is not even for an H or anything even close to that year. Please help if you can.
