steve i was raised i north dakota wheat country.at that time the M would pull any thing a w-6 would , and if you had cattle you could put a loader on a M.what i,am saying is the w-4 w-6 w-9 i think only sold a lttle over 150,000 all togeather wen you figure in reaserch develop ment and all the comities to just handle those tractors i wonder were the profit margin was? i no what you are saying wen i was a kid the W-9 and the R john deere ruled the wheat land.

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
