On our 970, instead of a right and left set of outlets, it had a top set and a bottom set. I figured this out when trying to run the baler and couldn't get the lift gate to work right at all. Put one hose in each top outlet, and one of the handles worked the gate just fine. If the hoses were connected to the bottom outlets, the other handle would run the gate just fine.
