Had a customer do just the opposite thing years ago on a planter, took it off his case and hooked it to the IH and had one hose in each set of couplers. Crazy part was that it worked for him first day not second. I finially figured out as it was also just single action he accidently(for him anyway) put it in float to lower it the first day but next day was trying to lower it by pulling lever into raise position. This is one reason it can be difficult to diagnose a problem from the computer as we cannot visualize all the things that have taken place.
