I'm finishing up the restoration on my 101 Senior. I took it for a pull, but it didn't want to start. I checked out my timing and it appears that I reassembled the oil pump so that I'm off 180 degrees. I stick my finger in the #1 plug hole, when my finger blows out, it should be firing on #1 cylinder, right? The rotor is pointed in the #6 position. I tried to rotate the distributer 180 degrees, but the cross key pin appears to be offset enough that it won't drop into place. My only alternative appears to be to drop the pan, remove the oil pump and advance it 180 degrees. Am I correct in my thinking, or is there an easier way? All you Continental experts please give me some advise......Thanx. Dave
