Hi Guys,
At the tailend of last season, I started having some major issues with the front end on my 1066.
Started noticing that whenever I was on uneven ground, there was a lot of play in that front axle. I could see the thing actually jumping a couple of inches from side to side, could not hold a straight line and I was really afraid to use the tractor for fear that the whole she-bang would end up falling to the ground at some point.
It's about time to get to the summer fallowing, so I went went out to the farm yesterday to get things ready. Fully expected that I would have to yank that front end out from under that big brute and replace a broken pin and/or busings.
This is what I found; darned wishbone bracket was only held on by one very loose bolt. After scrounging around for some nuts and lock washers, it only took about an hour to get it tightened up again. :>)
Sorry for the grainy picture; took it with my cell phone.
