You know about hardpan.
You would not live on a diet of only chemicals by foregoing the bread, meat and vegetables. But consider the taste of what many people are buying, calling it meat and bread. It is all getting pretty bland. Trying to spread the taste while trying to speed growth, in my eyes, is akin to painting the entire house with one gallon of paint. It will coat everything but doesn't really do the job.
People that don't like the laws need to be the people that change the laws. But then others will not like your laws. I became involved in politics for that reason and will soon find myself voted out because the voters don't like my ideas.
I like earth day and think we need to do what we can to keep the earth a place where people can live 5-10 generations down the road.
