I dislike quads with automatic transmissions especially belt drive CVT's. I've had them spin the belt when trying to move heavy loads or push heavy snow.
Quad's with solid rear axles will handle trailers better as the weight goes directly through the axle to the tires the suspension isn't compressed, quads with independent rear suspensions the trailers tongue weight will squat the suspension down.
