Well, I've never driven a dually pickup, but maybe should have some experience with that brain surgery.... Anyhow, just want to add, if those western states get colder than you are accustomed to, a dually is just miserable on snow or ice - or mud I guess. When it is unloaded that is - less lbs/square inch of tire means more spinning - if this is an issue for you. For the trailer, it's probably a big benefit that outweighs this.
