Wanting my brand new pride & joy to last I changed my 87 Grand National to Mobil One after getting home from the dealership. Changed to Amsoil oil & filters at approx 200,000KM. It has 428,000KM on the origional shortblock & burns/leaks a quart every 1500 to 2500KM depending on usage. Burned about that much oil during the 1st 50,000KM untill the rings finally seated.
