I know I will catch a lot of grief for this but I personally would hold out for the 1256. Here is why, that 361ci was reaching its top end from the gitgo and with the fuel pump being eay to turn up on it most of those 1206s were cranking much more than thier 112hp at pto.Number two issue is the TA will incure some heavy costs to fix. I"ve spent more time on those series tractors than any other and certainly have to admit it was impressive compared to any tractor built from 1965 thru 1967 compared to the likes of the ACD-21 and XT190 and the JD 4020 all rated at lesser hp during that time period. If you want one no matter what, have fun! The 1206 was certainly no doubt a powerhouse in its day and I just liked its looks. My two cents.
