Hi Kath, Welcome to you and your husband. Hammer has fallen to the incurable disease of 'restoration' with the particular strain of 'old iron-itis.' He will most likely have it to his death as I've never known of a cure. Though no known cure exists, I've also not heard of anyone who wished for one. Most victims of this disease are pleased with it's symptoms and live with it quite well. There are many support groups such as the forums on YTmag.com and support is also offered for the wives of victims until they themselves are infected. So.... welcome to the nut house. We're crazy but we like it that way.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
