Oliver used to be very popular around here. Then it bacame an equal shot of red & green - IHC & John Deere. I'd say JD has the edge now, since it is the only one that is easy to be loyal to, fewer mergers & closings. Old tractors, a lot of JD 4440/4420 machines, and IHC, a lot of 1086-1486 machines. Ford has it's following, but seems to be a slower paced dealer, so slower sales.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
