Nomad- It's all of the reasons you've been given so far plus many more to come. Yes, they are utilitarian; I bush hog with my Super C and 2N. But they take me back to a great time in my life, when I was a tractor-crazy kid growing up on my grandfather's and uncle's farm. The great interest in these old machines tells me that I'm not unique in all of this. If you are asking if they are better than today's tractors, I would have to say no; but they were great for their time and can still work.
