All these pics are taken on the family farm. First pic. is from eastern ridge looking back west.The homestead is in the background center rt. The second pic is one ridge over to the west . The first strip behind the barns is where I took pics. on yesterdays post. The harvestor's are still in use as haylage units. The concrete silos are used for corn silage, and the shorter Harvestor is now storing dried corn. The uncles are not running a milking heard any longer, but they do board around 125 head of young stock. The next pic. is looking as Otsego Lake. Cooperstown (Baseball Hall Of Fame) is at the south end of the lake. Next pic is just looking back to the east where first pic. was taken. and last is just another nice shot. PS Looney: the 5230 with the specially built rock bucket on its loader is constantly on the fields during secondary tillage with an Amish operator until we plant. Our elevation above sea level should have dropped over the years But: you know how rocks grow. High point in these pics. is about 1900 ft above sea level, farmstead 1497ft.
