The best stuff is dacthal, but it is getting hard to find. I guess the amount they sell is not worth all the EPA hoops they gotta jump through to keep the label active. It is safe and very effective for most garden vegtables and plants. I have located a supply and am going after it this week. I have used it for 20 years with great success.
Preen is way costlier, unless you buy agricultural grade Treflan and dilute it, then you have to spray it and dont have that nifty little sprinkle can. Preen doesn't get as many broadleaf weeds and is not cleared for as many veggies.
Hope my supply comes through, if it works out I plan to stockpile up a bunch.
