Bought this pickup in 2005-had around 95,000 miles on it. It has been very trouble free-just has needed 2 batteries and 1 battery cable, until Saturday! Has almost 124,000 miles now. I had 2 carpenter projects going in my garage at the same time, Saturday I was going to get one done and out, so it would not get damaged. Drove the truck out, then went to the lumber yard, parked it outside. Go to park it in the garage that evening, no fire! Plenty of crank, but no fire. Dad came over Sunday with his code reader-non set, of course! Showed good spark, felt the fuel pump relay clicking to the key, so, diagnosed it as a fuel pump. He volunteered to change it right were it sat, and had it running by 2 pm Monday! How fortunate that it quit at home! It could have happened anywhere! Greg

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
