Here in Central NY the grain crops and seedings are in for the most part. Oat fields and winter wheat looking good so far. Corn planting ahead of schedule by about 10 days, although cold weather with snow and rain made farmers take a break. The guys on the middle ground (heavy clay) are lucking out. Been a dry spring with a lot of wind. Sometimes they are planting corn end of June if lucky. Clear Alfalfa looking real good, about 1' high. I saw one farmer mowed down about 20A hay today. Maybe planning on plowing field under for corn but it was real steep ground so unlikely. Maybe he just wanted to be first, or didn't like the color of dandilions.? Our regular window for corn planting here is 5/10-20. Still got time. Suppose to drop to mid 20s tonight, with snow posible tomarrow AM.Really wacky spring. (extreams no consistancy)

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
