Why should someone elses world have to revolve around your plans or vice/versa anyway.
I get a lot of looks here because folks take Sundays, religion, and religious holidays pretty serious (at least on those days). Not supposed to run your tractor on the road or mow lawn/make excessive noise on those days. Our animals aren't religious and need taking care of, so I do what I need to do as quick possible.
Live in a catholic town and they called the police on me one day. Cops show up and ask me why I wasn't observing the quiet rules. Told them I wasn't a hypocrit, didn't screw my neighbor behind his back, and didn't rape choir boys, so why should I be quiet. Asked them to give me a ticket so I could research the rule and they wouldn't do it. One was pretty upset but the other was kinda smirking (guess he wasn't catholic?).
Was the guy mowing his yard smoking a cigarette and farting so he was screwing up the party air also????
