We have had 7 visits and 4 phone calls from those census people in the last 4 months. That doesn't count the 4 drivebys asking if we knew who lived at certain addreses and directions on how to find an address. We answered all their questions about us, less income and religious issues the first time they came. The next visit was to see if anything had changed since they were here last. It had only been 8 days since their first visit! After the 3rd visit asking the same things such "Are you working now?" we told them to stay away and quit bothering us. Next time we call the sherriff and charge them with trespassing!!!!!
Chris, You are either not telling the truth OR you had someone come who wasn't a census taker. Did they show Identification and did you check it? I am retired and making a little extra being a census taker. I show my ID every time and have only had 1 person to actually look good and check it.
We DO NOT ask for income or religion. Come on, tell it like it is. BTW we do not ask about if you are working or not.

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
