Now, the "Unimog" handle caught my attention. My brother-in-law has been babysitting a Unimog for a number of years now. He has a lawyer friend in Munich who freighted this wild unit over here about 8 years ago (to the east coast) and drove it across Canada. Somehow I think my brother-in-law has some sort of ownership in the beast. I believe it about 1960 vintage and I think it has a 5-cylinder diesel engine, does that sound correct? Anyways, they had mechanical problems here in Alberta and it's still sitting here. To my knowledge it has been repaired. I believe it was once an army ambulance or a mobile clinic. It's now a nice Turquoise blue (can you believe that) and has been converted into a camper. I think the rubber is all new, maybe 20" or something like that. Guess what I'm asking is whether or not there's a market for this thing here in North America? Get in touch with me at the email address above on this link if you know anything or could offer any suggestions. I think I've got a picture here I could scan and send to anyone you know that might be interested in seeing it. Meanwhile, I'll stick to tractors, although this thing looks like it could do a days plowing that's for sure.

If it would just start when I turn the key, then I would use it more often. In addition to a bad case of old age, most of the tractor's original electrical system was simply too unreliable to keep. The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
