A very good friend of mine is somewhat carless and forgetfull. His wife was cutting loose on him, yapping, almost out of control because they were almost out of gas in the pickup heading down the HWY. He reasured her they would be just fine, not to worry. As they crested a hill it died, and sure enough he rolled down the hill in to a small town gas station. Then said ---- see!
Another couple of friends flew to Texas to look at a air boat. The two cousins purchased it and went after it with their pickup. On the way home near Des Moines Iowa they ran out of gas in the pickup. They tried to defuel the air boat and into a pop can etc. So as a last stitch effort, one fired up the air boad, and the outer guy steered the pickup to the next gas station.
They are the most advanced farmers in the area, have a few airplanes, over 9,000 sows, and the biggest Chalenger and field equiupment in our county. We still make them understand deep down, they are red necks...bottom line.
