Yea, in the last say 6 months the unsavory type seems to have hit Craig's List. I started checking to not show an email address and started using a phone number. This because as soon as I post something I get a bunch of unspecific but plausible emails asking something like "Do you still have it?". If I reply I hear nothing but since the reply comes from from my real email address they get to add that to their spam list and they know it's a good active email address.
This seems to be happening to everyone as I even see people saying in their ads to reply with specif words in the subject of the emails so they know it from a real person.
I hate to make people jump through hoops but for junkier and lower cost items I hate all the phone calls at inopportune times--I'd rather answer emails when I have time.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
