You might want to be a little careful about what you say about farmers here - despite the ecconomy & urban sprawl & worldwide surpluses, there are still a few farmers left that visit here. I assume you were kinda joking, but maybe add a smiley face or lighten it up just a bit? So, now, are you trying to clean the mud off the outside, or out of the inside of a tranny? I haven't understood your question so far. If on the outside, wash it. If actual mud is on the inside, how did it get there, and you'll have bigger problems than just cleanning it! Or do you just mean the normal crude that accumulates on the inside of cast iron over 40-50 year? --->Paul
