The light is a control pressure indicator for MCV valve operation. it should be on and off with the clutch pedal. (others with better experience will help this as to when it is supposed to be on and off.) The If it has Powered front wheels there is a problem in the drive system, and it will self destruct if not repaired. (opinion) If they are just regular fronts the bearings need to be replaced and the spindles/hubs checked for wear. The situation is very not normal. Jim
