YES IT WILL. We set up a data logger to measure wind speed for a month. A short period, but we are smart enough to realize the wind charateristics in our area, related to season of testing, once we have a 30day data base. We logged consistant winds of 20MPH on this sight 50% of the test period and gusts up to 82MPH. Also had some days when the wind didn't amount to diddly sh!t. Also analized two locations on this site, and determined that although one location was 200' closer to the connection point, production would be far better Farther away and higher up on the property. We also weigh estimated production against anual consumption and make recomendations for energy conservation also. Mannnny variables to consider when figuring payback period. You must also consider your reason for installing renewable energy equipment, FINANCIAL or ENVIROMENTAL (to each his own) You might find this strange, but most of my customers are retired, and may never see a payback in their lifetime, but they don't take the cost of living and our impact on the enviroment for granted, like todays generation does. If you are my age you can think back when!!, and if I had done this!, I would be further ahead now! In my opinion, capturing free energy and utilizing it on site without an extensive public intrastructure is "a no brainer"
