If the hose is going to be between posts at about 5 meters between posts, the posts are going to need to be strong and deep. The hose will provide plenty of strength. Attaching it neatly can be done with Gorilla glue and clamps with an overlap of about 500mm on a loop, or on a splice. Use flat boards to press the hose together between clamps. It will insulate until it is wet!! Then it will conduct well and that is not the idea. The wire can be placed close to the hose, but touching will ground out (opinion) the charger. I also agree that an aggressive horse will get more aggressive if the effort he is putting out to intimidate the other horse is less fruitful. If possible (I hear you saying it is not) separate them. (I had a neighbor killed by a stallion in a stall. It was such a great and desirable stud, that the bad temperament was worth it(not). Jim
