Dont know how the backups are dont drive to work anymore (retired). You can bypass it by getting off at the six flags exit and going under 44 to the south side of the interstate. That is old hwy route 66. It goes through a couple small towns, Pacific and Grey summit. Slower speed limit but moveing if the trafic is blocked up on 44. From six flags exit to 100 washington exit is close to 10 or 12 miles.AT hwy 100 you can get right back on 44. There is two big truck stops there. There is also a place just before you get to sullivan where you have to slow down to use a by pass where they are redoing a bridge. Pay att. to the slow down signs there. going to fast and you will tip over. sharp turn and off set drop for a interstate. hope this helps Sam
