When we got married, wife had a '61 Chev Biscayne 2 door w/348 High Preformance-it was an old SD Highway Patrol car. It had a posi-track rear end and it would leave twin blackies for a half a block if you really got on it. It also would pass anything on the road except a gas station. Best milage we ever got with it was about 10MPG and that was at an average speed of around 80. At 65 it would get you about 8 MPG. Good thing it had a 27.5 gallon gas tank on it. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
