Family sold farm and moved to town about time I was born (1945). Grandpa died and Granny and 4 daughters could not run the farm alone. One daughter married a farmer and I spent time on their farm. I grew up with farm family values in small town, but I became an engineer. Now the big city is moving in on my small town. Bought 24 acres 30 miles further out 2 years ago to move to in about 5 years. Don't plan to do anything serious. Just a little hay and maybe a horse or two. Already have a tractor and I just go up and putter around whenever I can. Just want to get back to the slower pace life and enjoy my golden years.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
