Worked at a 31 story bldg which used diesel engine fire pumps. salesman decided to start up the fire pumps instead of paying for a tech to do so. I walked in the room after the engine had been running for 20-30 mins there was an oil haze in the room. I showed him where to turn on the cooling water for the engine. He shut the engine down instead.
