The recipe for lutefisk is easy: 1. Get a piece of codfish. 2. Soak in lye for awhile. 3. Remove from lye, discard. Discard the fish, not the lye- Use the lye for removing paint from tractor parts. 4. Don't put the fish in your compost pile. What did your compost pile ever do to you to deserve that?
