Last Sunday the frig at the farm quit. Called Home Depot to find out if I could get one delivered Monday. Told the girl our frig had quit and if I came and bought one there could it be delivered Monday. Girl said Monday"s deliveries were booked. Sorry and hung up.
Called Lowe"s. Told the lady same story. She said Monday was pretty full, but took my name and phone number and would check with mgr who could approve an override. She called me back in less than 5 minutes and said they could have it there Monday. James and I hopped in the truck, went to Lowe"s and bought a frig.
While we were there, manager comes by and says his delivery guy had just come in and they could load the frig and bring in right out.
We had a brand new frig delivered, set up and working in less than 2 hrs.
