Sometimes it"s good to put things in perspective. I was at the MPLS VA on Tuesday to see the cardiologist, and while watching one blind Vet going down the hall with a cane, heard another....mid-20s amputee with his therapist...apparently a TBI, standing at the cafeteria door. Trying to talk, looked like she was giving him a tour...maybe to facilitate his stay there....maybe explaining what c-a-f-e-t-e-r-i-a means? Very humbling.
