Its all part of the fun. Sometime, along about 35 I realized that 32-33 was my absolute peak physically, mentally, etc. It wasnt a sudden wake up but more a realization that everything took a bit longer. I kept trying to do at 40 what I did at 33. It didnt work and I started getting wake up calls. I ignored the first two accidents on the farm but the third one I couldnt. 6 months in the hospital and rehab gave me a new outlook on life.
