Opinions will vary with the tractors people actually used. I have three and love each one for it's own ability that fits my needs. The '39 AC "B" is perfect for me to cultivate the garden or pull wagons or use the sickle bar for mowing. Also nice wide seat for taking the granddaughter for a ride. The '40 Farmall "H" I use mostly for the loader (year round) but is also excellent for cultivating with the two row rig. The '51 JD "B" is my workhorse. Plowing cutharrowing and general heavy pulling. Now none of these tractors is spectacular but they each fit my needs perfectly. So to each his own. Just my 2¢ Rich
