Tell me about it. Not a good time to live in my neighborhood. Been just about a month now,a neighbor just to the west,my age had a massive stroke. His wife and I went to school together, her folks live just to the north of me,family friends and all that. He's still hanging on,but that's what took my dad,so he's not gonna have much quality of life for whatever's left of it. Just a few days later,I found out the neighbor to the east,my age too, went to school with me and the other neighbors wife, has cancer. He just retired and didn't even have time to clean out his desk and found out he had it. Monday night,my mother asked if I'd heard about a neighbor right to the north. Said she'd heard he'd had a heart attack and that it wasn't good. Didn't give it much more thought til his funeral notice was in Wednesdays paper. His daughter and mine were good friends and his son was one of my oldest sons best friends when they were growing up.
