If the engine needs glow plugs to start, the compression is weak. If the engine runs on two cylinders for a few minutes, one injector may be bad. If the injectors is not atomizing the fuel properly, the fuel will run down the cylinder walls in the crankcase turning the oil black in a very short time. Pull all three injectors and hook up fuel lines. You will have to tweak the fuel lines to reconnect to the injectors. Spin the starter watching the injectors. The injectors should really spray the fuel in a fine mist. Look for uniformity and no droplets. Do a compression test. the compression should be well over 200psi. Change fuel filter and check fuel line for ample supply.
