Cheap oil changes are just that cheap ! You get what you pay for . I dont install customer supplied parts . Don't bring your eggs to McDonalds do you ? Shops make money off parts mark up ,or they are not around long . what happens when something fails? Who buys the motor ? You got a fuel filter changed too, folks bashing the shop seem to have over looked that, and an air filter . 30 bucks labor to do all that is not out of line at all . If folks want dirt cheap service I send them to a quick lube place . If they want quality service and attention their investment deserves then I welcome them as long time customers . Everything gets greased , all fluids checked topped off. Lights ,brakes ,belts etc . The car goes out knowing that it is safe or the owner knows of anything that needs attention . Some say Upselling ? I say covering your A$$. Todays sue happy population would love to find someone to blame for their lack of maintinance . Didn't mean to be hard on ya , but people need to see both sides .
