It may be that you never understand why. It may do you some good to read the book of Job. Chapter 38 God said he would be asking the questions.
You will find out who your friends are. You may find that some you have not been a good friend to in the past will still help you because they see the value in you as a person.
I certianly wish you the best and will pray for you. If nothing else this is a time to develop friendships that already exist and make new ones. You will find out how much people care. Remember the kind things done for you and return the love shown to you. Hopefully you dont have friends like Job.
Other than being able to eat and clothe yourself money and material goods are without value. Those whom you love are you real possesions. Let your friends and you family know that you love them.
Hopefully in the past you have surrounded yourself with genuine people who will help you.
