My, son finished building a 302 high proformance engine for his f150 4x4 .The first K&N I,had any experince with and so it has held up ,because the first thing he did was find the worst swamp he could to put in and every weekend when he and his wife come in from work is put in another one .If mud and water cannot destroy a filter nothing can. He, just cleans it out and goes back to the mud.
