You are lucky nothing worse happened and you should thank the Lord. When you look for replacement binder chains, go where they have a large selection. Be sure to look for the break strength of the chain and pick the highest rating. For an example, the highest rated 5/16 chain is stronger than lowest rated 3/8 chain. Some stores to consider are "Big R", "Tractor Supply", "Quality Farm Fleet", ect... Good Luck!
