I've never heard that girth/rigging placement has anything to do with the origin of a saddle, just what the rigging placement is. I can tell you though that if there is no makers mark of any kind, anywhere on the saddle, it generally means CHEAP, no matter the country of origin. Not safe for anything but pleasure/trail riding, be careful!

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
