In less than 24 hours...
1) Discovered I left the Hydraulic fill cap off a tractor that sat through several days of rain! Have to replace 13.2 gal. 2) Backed up my truck trying to clear a tractor on one corner, & scraped the opposite corner on a corner post! Probably $500+ damage. 3) 3 trips to a part store for the same part! 4) If this dont beat all... My Paper Shredder; while chewing up about 50 credit card offers made a couple of loud pops, & then stopped shredding; but the motor was still running!
This on one day; of a 2 week vacation form work! Should I even leave the house today!!! At least I havent had a home flooded out like a lot of neighbors. I was out on the road with a tractor yesterday, & drove through water up to the front wheel bearings, & decided to back out of it. The front end was still going down hill into the water, & it looked like a pretty swift current across the road!
