Is the road all the way open to the top of Crater Lake yet? We made the mistake of leaving Smith Rock - upper mid Oregon, at 12 pm - about 37 degrees Celcius. When we finally made it up to Crater Lake late that afternoon it was snowing. This was about the beginning of July. The park had just opened. We stood around freezing and decided that even though it was beautiful,it was time to move on. Grant

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
